I have to say that Britney is not one of my favorite people. I really don't care for her at all.

I don't think she's fat by real world standards. She looks like a normal woman. Maybe somewhat out of shape, but she's not fat.

By Hollywood's outrageous standards? Yes, she is. That's only because H-Wood is so unrealistic in what women should look like.

i dont think she looks fat.. i jsut think her days for wearing those skimpy outfits are over.. now if rosie o'donald wore that on stage.. then thats FAT

She's not 18 anymore, she's had kids, give her a break (though wearing next to nothing leaves nothing to the imagination).

And how hypocritical is it that Hollywood has these outrageous standards, but when someone develops an eating disorder or surgically reconstructs their face or becomes severely depressed and mentally unstable, they get chastised for it forever?

it's not exactly true, but it's not false either. if this was the way britney always looked i don't think ppl would be giving her so much grief. but as a star in hollywood with all facilities at her fingers, the media(and ppl) would expect her to be much slimmer.all the other mothers in hollywood lose their pregnancy weight in two blinks of the eye.i'm not saying i agree with what the standards and pressures the media puts on the women of hollywood, but she knew this when she went in.
and look at her now, she's starting to look like the old britney-cheers to her!

I recently saw Kathy Griffin doing her stand up routine of skewering celebs including Britney...and even Kathy thought people were being horribly cruel to call Brit fat. Of course, that was about the only good thing Kathy had to say about Britney...

That comment is made in comparison to other Hollywood bodies. But in reality, she looks pretty good! I think her body has always been a bit stalky, but it suits her, she is well proportionate and when someone is confident with their body it makes them more attractive. She seems to be confident because she has no problem showing it off.

Really interesting comments girls! I enjoyed reading them. I would definitely not say she's fat, but I would say that compared to before she's not as in shape. But, she's had two kids!

She looks great just having two boys, only a year apart! Plus the camera puts on ten pounds!

Anyone who thinks she is fat, has their own issues, so everything will be viewed in the negative. These are not the kind of people you would give credibility. So, I think in the end, we'd just have to leave them in their own universe.

Britney is a size 6 (Her auctioned How I Met Your Mother clothes are a size 6) Half the size of the average American woman. She's in no way fat. She does most of the time wear clothes that don't make her body look good though. She's got a woman's body now, and won't ever be the stick she was 5 years ago.

She looks good (body wise not including the emotional stuff) for not having two kids, come on people. I happy someone brought this up. This issue needs continued attention. I personally am tired of seeing sticks like Kate Moss objectified as beautiful. Someone that skinny doesn't look beautiful, they look sick. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a conspiracy, where everyone is publicly agreeing to something they don't actually believe in. I was watching Bridget Jones' Diary the other day and thinking how pretty Renee Zellweger looks when she's filled out. Her complexion is better and her face is just generally more pleasant.

She isn't fat. Honestly, people saying she is makes me question how my body looks to others. I don't think people like Lara Flynn Boyle or Kate Bosworth are beautiful or other people that skinny. I consider a woman with curves to be beautiful. What really makes me laugh is that people say Jessica Alba has "curves", lol...she's too skinny, but maybe that will change with the pregnancy.

she has everything a girl needs to have. All the right curves on the right places. And that black "bikini" or whatever it is looks just like a normal bikini on any real world woman. She looks just fine!

I'm not a fan but I wouldn't mind having her figure. She's not at all fat.
